We saw evidence of numerous small recent natural wet loose avalanches in very steep terrain under cliffs and cornices. These were shallow and involved only last week's fresh snow. There were lots of recent sled and snowbike tracks on almost all slopes, even in very steep terrain and under larger overhanging cornices.

Not enough of a surface refreeze for good spring conditions... Breakable crust with slushy snow beneath in sunny terrain and breakable crust with drier snow beneath in most shady terrain.
