Quick report
Went up tumalo today and poked around. Approached from the west via the common corridor and made our way largely up the west side of the mountain. We started seeing facets forming on sun affected pockets of snow, which grew in both size and sharpness as we ascended, getting to fingernail sized closer to the top. The ski was pleasant, but there are still plenty of sharks out waiting to give you a core shot. Coverage down low on west aspects of tumalo is quite low as of now. We ended up walking the last couple hundred feet.
