The new snow Lutak recived earlier this week combined with high winds has created pockets of wind slabs especially at higher elevation. We stuck to areas with trees and found soft and enjoyable turns.

Cold and clear. Light winds at upper elevation.
Snowpack
Total snow depth at 2400ft. was 285cm. Dug a 115cm pit, where we hit thick rain/ melt freeze crust. The top 25 cm was very light fluffy snow. ECTN 26 @75cm. At 50cm down we start seeing multiple rian/ melt freeze crust.
