Lots of sluffs on the steepest slopes, and some "slumps" (snow that seemed to try to move based on zones of wrinkles) but no major movement or whoomphs.

Instability Comment

Yes, we've had a lot of new snow, and yes it came in with a variety of PI's, temps, and winds, but....it also seemed to tighten up pretty well with the temp swings?

Maybe in places with more wind-hammerage and thus more slab development?

Again, I dunno, but with 5-odd inches of water and lots of new snow spread out over Wed-Sunday it seems to me that our PWL issues were either going to roar to life with deep slides or the weight of a rider wasn't going to be the last straw. Fortunately it seems like the latter?

We kept our eyes/feet peeled for slabs from the varying temps and winds of the last few days, but....didn't really see any.
