Avalanche
Through binoculars I spotted a D2 avalanche on a NE aspect on Iron Mountain, likely triggered by a cornice fall originating from approx. 10,800’. This was in a confined couloir feature SSW of Ashley Lake. Debris was not present yesterday at this time and appears to be wet. There are a couple glide cracks in the same area that are opening up on an E aspect above Anona Lake. Widespread small wet loose activity on primarily E aspects throughout the Ritter Range.
