Quick report
Stunner of a day to be out with soft snow and no wind. Sun kept trying to truly poke out and bring on a loose wet cycle, but patches of blue sky were as far as it got. No slab activity today but loose dries, natural and skier triggered, were running far. No loose wet observed, even on SE aspects above Great Bear creek that stayed in a sunny hole for a few hours (although probably too far away to see if they were there).

Calm winds all day with a slight clearing trend.
Snowpack
30-40cm of high quality powder skiing above the old mega-stout arctic windslab. Dug at 6450' NE and found a perfectly right side up upper snowpack. ECTN15 down 17cm on new/old interface. Old windslab was 20cm thick and P hardness. ECTX on a 2 cm layer of 4mm graupel and rounded facets down 68-70cm.

3 natural D1 loose dry avalanches on Nyack NE, 7600'-7000', just looker's right of the previously reported persistent slab crowns. Multiple skier triggered loose dries on N and NE slopes 6600'-5000'.
