Northerly @ 9000' HS roughly 30cm. 8cm of variously developed facets above a supportable crust.
Northerly @ 10,000' HS roughly 45cm. 12-15 cm of variously developed facets above a supportable crust.
Snowpack
Recent low density storm snow rapidly faceting but not as advanced as the couple/few inches of more advanced facets (squares) over the supportable mid-pack crust. Decent turns in the square powder on the low angle grassy slopes. Image thanks to our friends at the Hatcher Pass Avalanche Center in Alaska.
