Temperatures towards base of snowpit showed facets going to rounds. ECTX, however prying with a shovel after test showed a very stubborn shear on graupel layers at 68 and 80cm off the ground. Will keep an eye on this interface in more shallow locations. Near surface facets were present.

Snowpack
Surface was a mixed bag of firm cold snow, breakable wind crust and really nice soft turns on low angle due north aspects. There were signs of previous wind scouring and wind drifting. We found areas of isolated graupel on the leeward side of terrain features above treeline.
Noted old avalanche crowns on Pfeifferhorn (NE 10,500'), No Name Baldy (NW 10,500'), Maybird Aprons (NE 9,400') most likely from the November 9th cycle.
