Quick report
Dug on a sheltered E aspect at 8000' at the bottom of Olympic bowl. Snowpack HS 100cm with 60cm of right side up storm snow (F to 4F) sitting on top of 40cm of 1.5-2mm FC. ECTP 21 failing at the new/old interface down 60cm.

Moderate to strong westerly winds with broken skies, and wind transport/effect in all but the most sheltered areas.
Snowpack
Widespread wind effect observed in the 8200-9000' elevation band. Active wind transport from W to E at ridgetops. HS varied from 30cm to 1000+cm. Mostly new snow/wind transported snow on top of a layer of FC with a varying thickness (10-40cm) depending on exposure of terrain to wind.
