Noticed new snow had slid along steep slope angles near Coal Creek; Observed all south facing slopes near highway 22 had slid naturally. The precipitation was wet, soaking my clothes rapidly, and the wind increased while I was out. Skinning up lower angle southeast slopes, I found wind slab cracking and moving almost everywhere. Snow sliding naturally on steep angles near the creek; Widespread wind slab movement on specific features. The instability hadn’t yet connected into larger structures at lower elevations.
