We came across a debris pile on our skin up West Porter, only a few switchbacks above the gully crossing, or just above where most people transition when lapping the main run. I'd estimate the previous skin track is burried in 10+ feet of debris in places. Based on the snowfall ontop, it probably occured a couple hours before we got there at 11am. No tracks yet in the area, so presumably a natural. From our turn around location, we couldn't make out if there was a crown or cornic fall coming from the ridge to lookers right. It's good reminder of the overhead hazard in this area. There was notable cracking going on while breaking trail, failing on a storm interface about 12 inches down.
