Observation: Guardsman Pass area

6-12" of snow depth found on non-wind drifted mid and upper elevation shady slopes.  The snowfall from Nov 7/8th is rapidly weakening and faceting due to the clear and cold.  A 2cm basal temperature crust can be found at the ground interface on the shady slopes at the upper elevations.  Surface hoar noted along the snow surfaces.
