Quick report
Snow on south aspects and below 9000 seemed mostly well bonded to the crust underneath.
Above 9000 or 9500 feet, it is a different story, especially on more northerly aspects. I suspect similar conditions on easterly aspects at upper elevations too. See this avalanche that I triggered.
Danger rating for today were spot on. Low at low elevations. Moderate at mid elevations. Considerable at upper elevations. Tomorrow's danger will depend on how much snow we get tonight.
Snowpack
The snow on south aspects got a little dense from some sunshine today. Here are the new snow amounts by elevation as of 3 p.m on Wednesday, March 25th. More snow is coming tonight and tomorrow.
7750 ft - 7 in (17 cm)
8200 ft - 8 in (22 cm)
8500 ft - 9 in (24 cm)
8750 ft - 10 in (26 cm)
9000 ft - 11 in (29 cm)
9300 ft - 11 in (29 cm)
Overall the skiing and riding is quite good. You can feel the crust under your skis on southerly aspects and lower elevations, but the snow skied well today.
