While on the ascent we noticed localized cracking in isolated wind loaded areas. While skiing I triggered a small (D1) wind slab on a convex roll mid path. We noticed several small avalanches in very steep terrain as well. Isolated wind slabs were reactive below and above treeline. We are observed some cracking in non wind effected snow, likely due to buried nsf layers.

While descending the south face, I skied over a convex roll into an area of cross loaded snow. A small, soft, wind slab broke at my feet and propagated around 20m wide and up to 20cm deep. It ran less than 10m vertical until the debris stopped. I skied off to the side as soon as it broke, and my partner and I continued to ski the face, avoiding the cross loaded pockets.
