Watched the slide break at the top of the ridge and slide down to the road. The slide stopped on the road. I found it very odd because the hill did not look like there had been a slide ( minus ofcourse the huge ammount of snow deposited over the road) it was simply the top two layers of snow that slid leaving an unblemished smooth lower layer.
