Quick report
I ventured up towards the gulf of slides at sunrise this morning and observed nearly zero wind until I ventured home around lunch. Just before 9am in gully #2 of GOS (@4200’ish) I Recorded ECTP7 @37 cm. (The second of two ‘wind board’ layers) After proceeding the remaining column fully released on this layer on ECTP13. Put site was low enough elevation that it was intermittently shrubbed and held more snow than some wider sections of the gully above and below . Hand shears leading up to the pit were inconsistent but sometimes planar on top layer of concern (≈8-15cm depending on pocket) I then went and poked around skiers left of the sandbox and found some evidence of debris under a rollover/ ice bulge. Wind slabs in this area were stiff and unreactice to stomping or skiing but a slab could be isolated with effort via hand shear @ about 10-20 cms
