Experienced collapsing and shooting cracks. Collapsing seemed to be on and below the 12/29 crust and shooting cracks emanating out from each collapse. Multiple Hand shears all released when cutting/isolating. Boot pen was about 40cm breaking through the 12/29 crust. New snow was rounding and settling though the day, but now liquid water was present. Climbing conditions were good, with ice from bottom to top and snow drifts easily avoidable.
