General conditions observation
Skied down Goldminers late afternoon which was supportable crust. Thought it might soften up in the afternoon but high clouds and a breeze kept it frozen. Below that the exit out of Gold Basin was five star mixed bag breakable crust skiing. Every crust in the book is interspersed with soft recrystallized powder in the deep shade and bullet hard melt /freeze crust in the sunniest patches.
No signs of instability observed. There was a breeze on the ride top but no snow transport occurring. South faces are getting thin with a few blades of brown grass sticking out of the snow on Goldminers.
