High clouds increase and decrease throughout the day. Light winds during the mid-day, before increasing around 4pm with light transport on the high peaks like Owen, Purple, Afley.
Snowpack
On a south-facing slope around 12,400ft at 1pm, the surface of the snow was moist but I wasn't able to push any loose wet avalanches. Later in the afternoon, I started to notice more small loose snow avalanches having run in the Ruby Range and surrounding areas. In this same area, there was a 15 to 30cm thick, decaying slab ontop of the first notable crust. Small hand pits didn't produce any clean fractures at this interface.
East to NE facing slopes between 12,700 and 11,600ft had a weak snow surface with developing NSF producing small sluffs. Boot Pen here was about 10 to 15cm through the NSF and into much harder snow below.

Recent cornces falls are continuing to add up. The most recent cornices fell this morning, while some others occurred in the last few days. There was a small loose wet avalanche cycle that occurred this afternoon, up to 11,800ft or maybe 12,000ft. Those loose snow avalanches were on SE-S-W aspects.
