Quick report

Several previous wet slides were seen, up to high points of just below 11,000ft. Many were estimated to be at least D2 in size. Snow surfaces were refrozen and supportable to foot travel. We dug on a shaded slope at 9,500ft and found refrozen wet snow in the top 2/3, with moist and loose facets in the bottom 1/3. By our departure in the afternoon, rainfall had begun.
