Virginia Lakes, Trumbull Campground zone

Went for a drive up to V Lakes with the objective to check road conditions and snow/rain line, and precip amounts.  Rain/snow line varied but was about 9k' overall. Above 9400' or just before the housing track, snow was starting to stick to the road and wind load.  I made it in 4x4 to the top of the plowed road, at the Trumbull Lake Campground turn off.  Visibility was low, winds were Moderate and snowing about 1-2" per hour. Wind loading was in effect.
