There didn't seem to be much of weak layer to fail on and I noticed mass settling relative to the weekend snow. Cavity hoar near trees and rocks was enough to push a pole down to the grip at some points, but will probably be less of an issue than the upcoming warming we're going to experience this weekend.

Leeward ridges are getting pretty stacked up. Warming might cause a few of these to weaken and pop off.

It seems that Tuesday morning's system pushed through with 3-4" of light, dry snow, followed by an afternoon rime event that coated most trees at elevations >8000 ft. Lots of distinct surface hoar had formed over night and wind was mixing it all up. Sunday's skin track was filled in on the ridge and the cornices had grown quite a lot. Riding was fast and smooth.
