It was a lonely day in the backcountry today. We only heard one other group of riders in the Tony area all day. Probably a good plan since it was blizzard conditions up high. We made several runs up high but the wind blew us away. We moved into more protected terrain where we found great turning conditions. The new snow did not bond well to the old snow and we set loose multiple avalanches on steep (38+ degree slopes)
