At about 12:40pm, the first boarder in our party descended the steep SE facing slope below Davenport Hill. We rode the same slope about an hour prior with no issues. The first rider triggered a wet avalanche while trying to make a hard cut skiiers' left to avoid the steep, rocky terrain, about 5 turns downslope (see picture). The boarder was only carried ~30 feet before coming to a halt above a tree, while the slide ran to the apron below. The first boarder rode skiiers' left to shallower terrain, and after exiting the apron, the second rider, who was above the steep terrain, took a similar skiiers' left exit.
