Quick report
I drove up Cecilville Callahan road until about a quarter mile below Cecilville summit and started to tour uphill of the road at ~6000ft. There was about 6 inches of fairly heavy new snow at the bottom and luckily there was a break in the storm and the sun came out while I ascended. The temp was 32° when I started. As I toured up the snow got significantly lighter and deeper. I stopped at ~6500ft and there was just over a foot of light new snow, temperature was 29°. The snow did not show any signs of cracking or instability but I stayed on the cautious end of things and stuck to the lower angle terrain. The snow quality was good and the descent was short but quite enjoyable.
