Quick report

Quick pit results. Time, 11am. Mostly sunny, high clouds present. Wind aprox 5-10mph. Location, SW 234 degrees. Elevation 6,130'. Slope angle 29 degrees. Aprox 1.2cm snow overnight. Pit results from shaded location. Snow depth of 130cm recorded. Shovel shear test isolated a weak layer/layer of concern (personally) at 100cm (in our location). Shear was clean. We then performed a compression test and saw a release at CT15/Q1. Time was limited so we did not execute an ECT. Knowing that there is a lurking layer roughly 30cm down (or so, dependent of aspect), a current storm slab and a possible wind slab (elevation specific), terrain choice today was limited to less than 30 degrees and away from any rock features or rollovers.
