Quick report
Overall stable snowpack, with low density snow sitting on top of the 12/7 rain crust. In a west facing pit @6100ft we observed all previous facets to be rounding and healing. In very steep (over 40 degrees) and rocky slopes, we saw the low density snow wanting to slide on the 12/7 rain crust, but it did not accumulate to anything concerning.

Pleasant weather, with mostly calm winds with the occasional gust. Sky was overcast all day with high clouds, and could see a weak inversion in the valley that broke up throughout the day. Temps in the upper 20's all day.
Snowpack
At lower elevations (up to 6,000ft) the 12/7 rain crust is strong and supportable. As we gained elevation, the 12/7 rain crust became notably more brittle above 6,000ft. We observed the rain crust to be approx. 2cm thick @6,100ft. Soft, low density snow ontop of the rain crust at upper elevations. Facets below the 12/7 were observed to be rouding and healing. Everything below the recent rain crust was strong and stable, with no propagation or concerning failures in test results. Did not find any buried surface hoar in a West facing pit @6100ft.
