Twin Cairns

Wandered up to the mellow south slopes on Twin Cairns - stayed away from steep alpine slopes due to slab concern. Recent wind (off W today) scattered new snow fall with lots of variability around ridge line. Where deep enough (80+cm), new snow seemed well bonded but we did not investigate much. A few decent turns, but many sharks still lurk just beneath the new snow. Not worth it unless you’re out for a nice walk in the meadow!
