Koot pass

Skied cornice ridge NW and A lap down the west side of missle ridge. N facing slopes had a thin crust about 5cm down. The crust was a bit grabby on the tips and tails but not as bad as we expected. The W and E facing slopes were dust on crust. With about 5 cm ontop of a hard crust. We saw no signs of instability and no recent avalanche activity.
