Watersprite

Good conditions at watersprite. The winter road alder is filling in. Crossing the flats only has 1 creek crossing. Trees below the hut are pretty crusty but open slopes are good snow. Above the hut the snow is deep and unconsolidated. A few size 1 slides on steep south facing terrain looked like started by tree bombs and entraining snow. North aspects skied really well and no evidence of slides. Ridge crest was very wind affected.
