White and windy

A windy day skiing the backcountry adjacent to RMR. We had very limited visibility but did not observe any new avalanches. There was widespread wide effect in the alpine with wind loading observed in lee features. Ski quality improved in the trees with 30-60cm of unconsolidated snow overlying the Dec 1st rain crust. This week’s storm snow appeared well bonded to the crust. We got no results in compression tests on the Dec 1st crust and did not observe any faceting above or below the crust.
