Today was a very sunny, very hot day, with just a couple of small clouds in the sky. There was a light breeze. Looking ahead, warmer temperatures are expected with poor, weak, or no overnight freezes.

The snowpack is undergoing a significant wet-out cycle, particularly on sunnier and east-facing slopes, with deep weak layers consolidating and increasing focus on wet slab avalanche concerns as water penetrates deeper.
