Across the ferry

Thought we would head South of our normal riding area to hunt a snowpack with instabilities. The trip did not disappoint. (Bluebird, fresh powder and test results) Snow pit: 1900m, Treeline, North Aspect, 41 degree slope. CTH22 (SP) down 65 on 6-10mm surface hoar. ECTP25 down 65 on 6-10mm surface hoar. Obs: Observed from a distance what appeared to be 5 natural size 1-2 wind slabs on varying northerly aspects that appeared approx 48-72 hours old.
