Tablelands (Devils Punchbowl)

CT16 ECTP21 (full propagation) Sudden collapse Both at 30cm. Failure layer was large damp rounds. The snow is still wet at and below the failure depth, but last nights freeze was deeper than the previous nights. We were hoping to get into some bigger terrain but the face we planned on skiing was getting a lot of sun and it was heating up quickly. Seemed like a high consequence/ low probability situation so didn’t want to risk the bigger, sunnier terrain. Low angle slopes skied great! Well developed corn snow on a supportive crust.
