Quick report
Lift lines suck so took a quick hike out to Angel Peak. I did not observe any signs of instability. Dug a quick pit at 8500’ and did discover the 1/3 rain crust (1/2 thick) at 25 cm down in the snowpack. Above that was fist hard faceted snow. There was a 5 cm denser (4 finger) layer at the surface. No results on a CT. I did ski 30°+ with minimal sluff.
