Quick report
Great skiing on NE sheltered slopes. The Storm snow continues to improve its bond with the January drought layer, but 2mm rounding facets could still be observed at the interface of these layers down 75 - 90 cm. Density changes within the storm layer were also observable where a layer of fist hard preserved stelars was layered between 4 finger hard decomposed fragments. We conducted several ECTs on NE slopes between 7800' and 8000' elevation, and got no propagating results in any of the tests. Almost all exposed slopes down to 6800' had some sign of wind transported snow, but sheltered slopes were free of any wind effect.

Avalanche
We saw several small (D1) natural wind slab avalanches just below ridge crests along South bowl on its east face. We also witnessed another group trigger a small (D1) soft slab avalanche in the top third of the east face of South bowl. Based on the size of the crown and wind effected snow surfaces it was likely a wind slab. No one was caught in the avalanche.
