Quick report
We took an L1 group up the FS road towards Kendall Peak Lake and got up to 3,800' where we dug and looked at layers. Height of snow was 50 cm at 3,500' and got up to a meter at 3,800'. Broken to overcast cloud cover all day and on and off light (s-1) snow and light to no wind. We dug 3,800 feet and seems like the bulk of that was from the prior 36 hours, we did get some results on the graupel layer at 20cm down but nothing was cohesive on top of that. Same results with hand pits. All in all it's starting to look like winter!
