Quick report

Skied the NE Aspect of Bullion Pk in the early afternoon. Overall the aspect felt stable with about 12” of light pow on top of the rain crust. I made two hand pits before skiing and noted some shearing at -4cm and -lol 20cm, about 5cm above the crust. We felt very little movement between the new snow and crust on the descent and noted minor sluffing from the surface. The snow skied well above 5,300 ft then transitioned to breakable crust to the parking lot. Weather started in the high 30s at the base with full sun until noon, becoming overcast. Bullion summit temps were mid-high 20s with about 10 mph winds from SSW.
