Quick report
Started my tour at noon today (first mistake). From hwy 12 I was able to start skinning and noticed the snow was already quite wet and warm. I climbed up my first objective of the day which was a NE facing slope shortly after 1pm. I decided to not dig a pit as I saw no signs of instability (second mistake). After my 4th turn about midway down the slope, I triggered a wet slab avalanche large enough to bury or injury a person. No one was caught or carried by this slide. I was able to traverse across the slope and safely exit the slide path. I was pretty disappointed with my poor judgement of the snowpack and was extremely lucky in this situation. Wet and warming new snow from overnight.

Triggered a wet slab on my first run of the day. Only sign of instability encountered was the new high density snow that accumulated overnight that became warm and wet by midday.
