Quick report
All slides appeared to be from the prior day, with no new avalanches or signs of instability noted during the morning. Numerous test slopes proved stable, with well-consolidated firm wet snow down to 0.5 m. Firm crust in the early morning changed quickly to heavy wet snow by 9AM as temps warmed above 50F. Stayed on slopes below 35 degrees and avoided runouts from previous day’s slides. No cracks or new roller balls noted during morning excursion.

Numerous D1 & D2 wet loose avalanches noted on most slopes above 35 degrees on all aspects from rapid warming following the recent new snow.
