Quick report

Reading the avalanche report was low and our 1st lap on this face the snow was felt stable. However, on my second lap I rode two short couloirs then crossed over to the third couloir. I took the traverse cautiously since I was over a ton of exposure and if something were to release I wanted it to be below me. The moment I got above the chute the entire face ripped. 10’ above me and propagated to the far side of the chute. It was about a 8” to 10” crown . This slide carried me through the chute and down about 150’. I was able to stay above since I did the back stroke . I am extremely lucky to have no injuries.
