Shallow snowpack only about 2 1/2 feet deep at 7500 feet .Injury potential from hitting logs and rocks High, and Human trigging persistent, weak faceted layers in the middle of the snowpack is possible. Wet avalanches in the upper foot of the snowpack are possible below 7300'. NOTE: Map location is approximate. Warm temps, above freezing overnight producing rollerballs on the surface below 7300'.Snow pits showed weak facet layer that formed in November that is visible in the middle of the snowpit, to produce moderate failures in compression and full propagation on extended column tests. Poor stability.
