Lake Louise backcountry

Skied south gully skier’s right cross loaded sidewall from Fairview summit, as it had best base. Went around, up, and over Surprise Pass. Dropped down to Plain of the Six. Went up Tea House trail and skied gully between Popes and Whyte from ~2400m. This was the best run of the day, because it was the most filled. Snowpit at this location. Blower cold smoke everywhere, but so many rocks still!

GPS coordinate is for snowpit. ECTN11 down 25 cm facets below crust. ECTN22 down 70cm basal facets below crust. Another nonreactive crust between these two. 80cm HS.
