Hero’s area

Quick walk about and ski of the head wall feature on hero’s knob today. Some powder to be found low in the sheltered trees maby 10-15cm tops but as soon as we got into treeline/alpine the snow was just a dust(5cm) on crust Which made for brutal skinning conditions. We had to bootpack the last section of the head wall. We found Some pockets of windslab/windskin but nothing very big or concerning. Skiing around there is decent but skinning is brutal.
