While on an AST 1 field day we witnessed Sledders riding this wind loaded slope. When we looked again a minute later it had slid. We could not tell if anyone was caught but later heard there was a burial but the rider was ok. We also noticed on the trail ride in that a rider had cut across a bank and it fractured on what appeared to be the dec persistent layer. This was lower down at about 1500m. The weather was sunny and warm but did not get as warm as some weather models predicted. A cool wind kept it below zero on the south aspects. No pinwheels.
