Nak Peak

We went out for our first backcountry ski of the season today! We skinned up to the saddle between nak and thar. The snow pack is very thin below 1600m, above 1600m the snow depth ranged from 60-90cm and a couple pockets with 100cms. Travelling through the alders took a very long time. They are not covered at all, other than hitting a couple rocks on the lower elevation slopes it was a good day!
