During AST 1 today we noticed 2 size 1.5 - 2 slab avalanches in heavily wind loaded areas. Windloading has loaded up pockets at tree line with over 35 cm of new slabby snow due to strong winds Jan 18. Average storm snow depth was about 15-20 cm in the sheltered meadow at 2080m. Test results in flat meadow. CT 2 SC Dn 15 on SH. CT 9 SP down 35 on SH (Jan5) CT 13 SC dn 65cm on SH (dec 15)
