MacDonald W Shoulder

Plenty of windslabs scattered across the open section of MacDonald W shoulder. We observed multiple layers of wind deposited snow on our ascent with some very easy hand shear results. Slabs were 20-40cm thick, and some areas appeared to have one slab stacked atop another. We got as high as we could among the trees before deciding to turn around at c. 1900 m. Shooting cracks and fracturing blocks were prevalent along the uptrack.
