East Peak

Moderate SW winds. Everything above treeline (~2100m) was wind affected. We rode the southeast aspect down the face of east peak. Firm snow. Good turns. Smiles all around.

A few small whumpfs were noticed while walking. Almost not loud enough to hear. Collapsing seemed isolated underfoot beneath wind slabs on east ridge. Wind slabs were observed on S through NE aspects (other aspects were not visible or travelled on). HS 220 CT21 RP down 24. Jan 30 MFcr down 40cm.
