Tryst Chutes

Went to check out the new snow. New snow depth varied from a skiff to maybe 10cm on top of a nearly bulletproof crust. Uptrack was difficult in places. Crampons would have been nice but it was doable. Descending the last chute was a mixed bag. A few nice powder turns to start. Lots of snow sluffing in the steeper sections, leaving crusty and hard turns on the steeps. Nice powder below the rocks. The ride out was a similar mixed bag of hardpack and soft snow. Bring on the full snow reset.
